Summary
Peter wasn’t sure that his day could get any worse.
First, he overslept his alarm that morning and was late for chemistry which earned him a zero on the attendance quiz. Ned was out sick, so he was left to deal with the rest of the day alone. After third period, he lost his favorite pencil somewhere between the lockers and the physics classroom. The cafeteria ran out of pizza at lunch, and decathlon practice was cancelled.
Add in a want-to-be supervillain induced power outage at Avenger’s Tower while stuck in an elevator with the literal Captain America?
No. Peter was convinced he couldn’t have a worse day if he tried.
OR
Peter is done with everyone's (read: Steve's) shit. Steve's a good guy here. No bashing in my house.

Summary
“Daddy don’t go!” Peter wailed, the three-year-old clinging to the pant leg of his suit like his life depended on it.
Tony’s heart shattered in his chest. This part never got easier, and it was why he had made the decision to work close to home and take less and less business meetings out of state and country. He hated leaving his son for any longer than he had to, and the mere idea of it did awful twisty things to his gut that he was sure his younger self would have made fun of him for.
He bent down and scooped up the sobbing boy, holding him tight to his chest as the little hands grasped at the thick material of his coat, and he pressed his face into unruly curls.
“Hush now, cucciolo,” he murmured softly. “I’ll be back in no time. You won’t even know that I’m gone.”
Peter’s tiny body shook with uncontrollable sobs.
“No!” he cried.
Tony seriously considered cancelling the entire meeting in D.C. or shirking the responsibility off to Obadiah at the least.

A quick look into the toddler years with Peter Stark. This is part of my AU, but can still technically be read as a stand-alone, but some things might not make sense.

He felt the unmistakable feeling of a cold metal barrel being pressing into the small of his back, and his Spidey Sense buzzed sharply in his ear.
The men may have been idiots, but they meant business.
“I would keep your trap shut if I were you,” one of them said next to his ear.
OR
Peter and Flash get kidnapped from a decathlon field trip, and this is the outcome.
I had to just get this out of my head so I could stop thinking about it. That's pretty much it. It's not heavy, and honestly pretty fluffy.

Tony can't finish reading. He swears his heart stops. “FRIDAY,” he croaks.
He doesn’t have to finish the order; FRIDAY, as if reading his mind, activates his Iron Man suit and sends it to envelop his body. Tony is shooting through the skies before he even fully realizes it.
OR: Peter Parker was in a car crash—except... he wasn’t. One forgetful Spider-Kid, one sleepy best friend, and one misleading post on social media all lead to a disastrous turn of events, culminating in the arrival of an unexpected guest at Midtown High.
