Reki comes to the realization that the boy he patched up after numerous failed ollies is now flying high above him in the skating world. It hurts to think that soon Langa will realise Reki is holding him back. When Adam makes Reki an offer that can fix everything, he accepts, even though it feels like making a deal with the devil himself.
Adam can see Red pining after Snow and it irks him. These young skaters have the world at their feet, but refuse to take any chances. Chances now lost to Ainosuke himself. When an opportunity comes to help Red fix things, Ainosuke jumps at the chance. Purely for his own entertainment of course. It has nothing to do with showing Tadashi he's not a monster. Nothing at all.
