Summary
The Hulk's mental re-calibration in Stark Tower gave Loki back control of his thoughts; the Tesseract gave him the ability to go to ground. This newfound freedom offers the time to recover and figure out a plan for hiding from Thanos. Things don't stay that simple for long, as issues with Hydra, the Avengers, and the court of Asgard become increasingly pressing, leading Loki to take a round-about path to where he'd always planned to be. (Or: how to save the universe and set right what once went wrong without really intending to).

A fantastically well written story. All of the Loki & Thor character growth you could possibly ask for, and a tone reminiscent of many early Thor/MCU fics—but this time complete with a much better reimagining of the Thanos arc. Just amazing!!
