or: in which Kuroo Tetsurou is the Flame Alchemist and Kozume Kenma would follow him to the end of hell.“Are you Lieutenant Kozume?” The boy - who he assumed was Tobio Kageyama - had a quiet, bland voice. Kenma felt the sofa he was sitting on shift as Tobio sat next to him. Glancing through his bangs, Kenma noticed that Tobio was looking straight ahead, presumably also in an attempt to avoid eye contact.
“Just Kenma, please.”
“Hmm. Then, Kenma, why did you join the military?” Tobio’s voice was still flat, but there was a hard glint that made Kenma tense.
Still, there was only one answer that would be true enough for Tobio. “I came to protect someone.”

“Shut the fuck up. That’s not the problem here. You? A ‘zest for life?’ Looking forward to each new morning? Hah! Rimbaud would sooner come back to life.”
Dazai turns to Chuuya with the barest facsimile of a smile painted over his lips.
“I,” he says sweetly, “am going to gut you open like a fish.”

Summary
Two weeks after Dazai left the Port Mafia without so much as a warning or explanation, Chuuya found out he was pregnant with the bastard's child. A girl named Orimi. Despite all the struggles, he tries to raise her the best he can and give her the most normal life she can have as the daughter of a mafia executive.
But nothing could have prepared him when, four years later, he hears that Dazai was not only still in Yokohama but had joined the Armed Detective Agency. Which... Chuuya would give his heart and soul for his daughter, and that included keeping her other father as far away from her as possible, because he was scared. Scared about what would happen if Dazai realized who she was. He was terrified, at least for now.
_____Or: After Dazai leaves the Port Mafia, Chuuya realizes that he's pregnant with the other's daughter, who he names Orimi. Four years pass, and when he hears Dazai's back he swears that he'll never let him find out about her.
