“There is strength in mistakes,” Angela tells him. She knows her expression is hard, focused, diamond. “Too much force, however, too many mistakes, and you will begin to break.”

    Genji says nothing.

I love this story. It's beautiful. Gency doesn't get nearly enough appreciation from the tumblr-side of fandom, if you get me... it's kind of more relegated to the /actual/ active players of the game (lmao), or casual fans. Most of the art/fic creators are hardcore on that Pharmercy/Moicy ULTRA SAPPHIC shit which is cool too, but that means us Gency fans don't have a whole lot to look to.

And boy, is /this/ something to look to. Gorgeous writing style, beautiful language, perfectly conclusive and suffused with just the right amount of vagueness.
I read it at near-midnight on a really bad April day, and ngl I nearly cried lmao. Genuinely a huge spark that re-ignited my love for writing & literature.

    Guess I'm lame like that?

Not gonna lie, I just think it's super cute. Not the grandest fic of all time, but a good read all the same. To be honest, I'd recommend it more if you /don't/ ship Chloenette; in some way I feel like that gives more weight to the story.

Frisk sang for a living. She sang in clubs that were populated by mobsters, murderers and the most violent criminals her city had to offer. She honestly thought things couldn't get any worse until corruption in the form of a grinning skeleton came strolling into her life. His name: Sans.

She tried to run, but no matter where she went he was always waiting for her.

Definitely one of the more famous Undertale fanfictions of recent times -- and certainly the most famous Frans one -- it can't be denied how engaging this fic is. Some may be thrown off by its focal ship, but I cannot say I personally am; I'm always a fan of reinterpretation and I'm big on these versions of the characters -- very compelling! Would recommend the Tapas comic adaptation by Melikas as the art and visual interpretation is GORGEOUS, and the (very popular) comic dub by Vade on YouTube, as the production on that is surprisingly outstanding!
Not generally a huge fan of mafia AU but this was a surprisingly fantastic take. NOTE: Underfell AU (Mobfell).

Definitely one of my Undertale faves and worth a read even if you're out-of-fandom, not a fan of the ship, or simply a "bro undertale cringe" kind of guy.
