“Dad, what’s going on?” Cade heard Tessa ask as he looked in the direction Bumblebee was staring.
“I don’t know,” he replied.
A young man with a five-o-clock shadow and messy dark brown hair had gotten past the police line. Unlike those around him, he didn’t carry any news equipment. And he just happened to be staring at Bumblebee.
Not in shock or awe like someone encountering their first Transformer, but relaxed. He seemed…relieved. He looked to be in his mid-20s, wearing jeans and a red and white plaid shirt that seemed out of place in China. The sleeves ended just above the elbows and Cade caught a glimpse of a small black tattoo on his left arm, though of what he couldn’t tell.
“Sam?” said a male voice that Cade vaguely recognized from a show that Tessa enjoyed.

Nick Fury sweeps into the Tower common room to find eight Avengers and a fucking flerkin waiting for him.
The black flerkin lounging on the coffee table has white on its nose, mouth, and—eerily similar to Iron Man—on its paws and the arc reactor-esque spot on its chest. It’s absolutely adorable, and equally unfair because he can’t pick it up and cuddle the shit out of it since given the company he’s currently in… “That’s Stark, isn’t it.”
OR: Tony Stark’s shifter form is a flerkin, he and Thor apparently aren’t the only aliens in the Avengers, and Nick Fury’s day just got a lot more complicated.
