The Sheriff looks at his watch. Again.
Stiles is still not home. It’s four am.
“Come on, kid,” he grumbles to himself, thinking through his triage plans for just this situation. His first point of order in all plans is to call Scott.
He doesn’t want to call Scott. If he calls Scott, he’s going to wake up Scott, and if Stiles isn’t with Scott, then Scott is going to be involved.
Scott is not subtle. Bricks to the face are more subtle than Scott. The Sheriff maybe needs a bit more subtlety than Scott right now.

Steve Rogers has only been able to flirt successfully with a total of two people: both of whom were born before 1925 and both had already decided they liked him before he’d even bothered to try. He’s a goddamn babe in the wilderness.
But there’s optimism and there’s stupidity. If Steve’s not at the bar, Bucky needs to find where he is. That’s why he came on this mission, that’s why he’s here. He’s here to keep Steve from doing something stupid and from having something stupid done to him. It’s like fucking 1938 all over again, and Bucky didn’t survive that year just to have Steve go down in goddamn 2017.

Steve isn’t sure that his plan is going to work, is the thing.
[An Endgame Fixit story because I just can't believe that's how it would go. I just CAN'T.]

Bucky Barnes on his first day as Captain America, post Endgame. (No Spoilers, just how I wish it would go.)

"I've got a plan," Buck said about point four seconds later, short enough for Steve to know that he'd been thinking about it the whole time he'd been staring at Steve. How he'd been a spy, Steve would never know.
"Oh, yeah?" Steve asked, not sure he wanted to know what kind of crazy idea Buck had come up with, having been the focus of a number of other Bucky plans over the course of their friendship and sometimes he'd ended up with ripped shirts and needing to say a few Hail Mary's. Other times, he'd ended up with a bloody nose and an asthma attack due to needing to run for his life.
"What if you tell her you're dating someone already, you know? Like, secretly. Quietly."

Steve Rogers had survived more than he cared to remember.
Polio. Scarlet Fever. Pneumonia. A bum heart.
Basic training. Hydra. Nazis. Chorus Girls. World War II.
A plane crash. Kind of.
An alien invasion.
It seemed, however, that the thing that would finally kill Steve Rogers would be as mundane as it was ridiculous.
“Your poll numbers are way down, and we need to get them back up.”
Because, apparently in 2013, public opinion about Steve Rogers and his performance as Captain America mattered more than his actual performance as Captain America.
Last week, Steve and Natasha had taken out a terrorist cell with plans to blow up the Eiffel Tower, and the only casualty had been the broken arm of one bad guy because he tried to cop a feel and Natasha hadn’t been in the mood to watch Steve get his pec squeezed.
But this week?
This week, his poll numbers were way down.

The emotion in that sex scene is just *chef's kiss* and the blocking of it was just so real and visual and wvwrything I've ever wanted
The scenes we didn’t see after the cruise and before the end credits.

One night near the end of first semester 1L finals, just a few weeks before the two-year anniversary of their first kiss, Alex finds himself looking up from his desk with its messy piles of color-coded notes and tabbed textbooks to see Henry asleep on the couch, clearly having dozed off waiting for him to come to bed, and unbidden he thinks, God, I’m going to marry this man.
It startles him, the spike of adrenaline that floods through him waking him up and bringing the parts of his brain turning over concepts like proximate cause and strict liability to a standstill as he stares at Henry.
I want to marry this man.
Henry is fourteen the first time he kisses a boy. He’s twenty-three the first time he’s able to do so openly, to make choices about himself and his life that are really, truly his.

Sometimes, Alex gets stuck in his own head. And for twenty-two years he doesn’t think there’s anything to be done other than to just go with it, ride out the frenetic energy until he’s fixed whatever needs fixing, or until the situation is over, whichever comes first. If he can just control everything, it’s fine. He likes being in control, he’s good at it, he’s fine. It’s just how things have always been.
