Summary
Jimin and Yoongi meet in kindergarten and the two become friends despite Yoongi's nervousness to meet new people. Jimin helps break him out of his shell quite a bit growing up and is always there to help Yoongi through his social anxieties and is his biggest supporter. Yoongi begins falling for Jimin at a pretty young age but doesn’t really realize it for a while, but it's only intensified when he presents as an alpha and Jimin as an omega.
Yoongi spends most of their friendship trying to protect Jimin and wishing he knew how to court him properly but he just doesn't know how to voice what he really wants from him without ruining what they have as friends. Plus Yoongi has to watch every alpha within smelling distance throw themselves at Jimin once the boy presents, which leads to lots of pining and misunderstandings.
