Summary
Juno let his hand drop onto his desk. It was the same desk as it had always been, from the circular stain on the corner from a glass that had contained whiskey more often than not, to the burned hole through the third drawer on the right hand side from when his blaster had gone off unexpectedly. If he moved his foot a little farther forward he knew it would tap against the safe underneath. It was his office, exactly as he remembered it.
Which, coupled with a spontaneously regrowing eye, was a problem. Because the last thing he remembered he had been onboard the Carte Blanche.

Summary
In a world parallel to that of the Archives and the Institute, a supernatural sanctuary stands against a cruel and uncaring world: A world of bureaucracy and tyranny, of murder and carnage, of loneliness and surveillence, of plague and death.
But in this world of fear and misery, 14 entities born of the hopes of the world have emerged. And one of them has made their home here, at The Magnus Sanctuary. Perhaps, the employees within may lead happier lives than their counterparts did in the Archives.
(TLDR, it's a wish-fulfillment AU set in a dystopian alternate world, filled with fluffy ships and cute stories about Gaurdian-Angel-esque monsters.)

Summary
Mati fluffs her feathers out and draws them back in slow, like a sigh. Those thin eye-marks shift back into place. He stares numbly, and the dozens of them stare back.
"It’s alright, Jon," says his daemon, tiredly, in the quiet of their Archives. "This is who we’re going to be."
He supposes there’s nothing to be done about that.
Or: fourteen scars on the soul of Jonathan Sims.

Summary
Agent Aaron Hotchner couldn't ask for better agents than David Rossi, Derek Morgan, Emily Prentiss, and Jennifer Jereau. In fact, he prides himself on heading the best team the BAU has to offer. Still, he's not so arrogant he doesn't know when it's time to call for help, so when his team hits a brick wall with a ticking clock, he reaches out to the Intelligence Control and Analysis Program. ICAP sends him a mountain of files, all of them good candidates, but Hotch is repeatedly drawn to the same file. Genius #2036334-4383 has three doctorates and a high success rate with the Bureau, though he's never been in the field. According to his file, Genius doesn't play well with others, but Hotch doesn't see that posing much of a problem. Besides, it's a temporary arrangement.

“My grandmother taught me about selkies,” said the tattooed man. “Said it’s good luck for them to grace your ship. To treat ‘em right, and they’ll guide you safe.”
It had seemed like a reasonable thing to believe.
