Summary
“Does this mean we can get out of having sex with a tree and instead go home and have sex in a bed?” Derek asked hopefully.
Stiles grinned. “Nope. A treesome will still be necessary.”
---
Derek isn’t a dendrophiliac. Just because he agreed to have sex with a tree (well, Stiles and a tree) to try and help start a new Nemeton to replace the old, damaged one doesn’t mean he has to like it.
Stiles, on the other hand, may be a different matter. Because he just won’t leaf those puns alone.

Summary
“When you believe in the mountain ash, you don’t just believe that it will work in the abstract sense. You believe that werewolves can be contained, that it will protect you, that you’re safe from everything supernatural that is in the circle when it’s up, right?”
“Yeah.”
“I know you, Stiles. Do you really believe in peace and calm? That they are realistic, a true possibility?”

Summary
“Oh, come on, this is brilliant,” Stiles complained. “I don’t have anyone with any sexual or romantic interest in me, and going out for random hookups and saying, ‘hi, I’m Stiles Stilinski and I need you to have sex with me so that I can complete a pagan spell to protect Beacon Hills from various monsters’ just is not really feasible.”

Lydia finds Stiles doing something very weird in the Preserve. Turns out he’s working on a ritual to help him with his spark training, though Lydia thinks he probably wouldn’t need magical help if he wasn’t so oblivious.Series

Summary
When Stiles had asked Derek to try out bondage by tying him up, Derek hadn’t thought it would be a big deal. They talked about what Stiles wanted, chose a safe word, even picked out some safety cuffs together. But tying Stiles up had put Derek into a panic attack, bringing flashbacks of his own time being tied up at Kate Argent’s hands. They both agreed that BDSM wasn’t going to be happening again anytime soon.
But then, Stiles realizes that Derek doesn’t seem to mind it when Stiles pins his hands down as he’s riding him. Maybe they were assuming the wrong things about what had triggered that attack.

Summary
Derek likes the soothing voices of NPR. He listens to a story about the 1920s, when “snuggle puppies” engaged in “petting parties.” The reporter on the radio says that these parties allowed teens and college students to engage in “erotic exploration” without devolving into orgies.
Stiles, on the other hand, thinks “snuggle puppy” is a stuffed animal line for pets with separation anxiety, or maybe the title of a kids’ book, and he thinks “petting party” is a great way to describe what happens when Derek comes over to hang out in his full wolf shift.
It takes a bit of time for them to get on the same page.

Summary
When faced with new information, Stiles believed in finding out everything he could about it, and the knowledge of his own unimportance was no different. He started by observing, counting the number of people he spoke to each day and whether they met his eyes. With the baseline established, he then began changing variables: self-initiated versus Stiles-initiated, context-based or spontaneous, functional versus social, obligatory politeness versus meaningful interaction.
No one noticed the change in him as he parsed out the categories and wrote out the statistics that proved John Donne wrong. His bones were lighter, hollowing out from the inside until he felt brittle and breakable but weightless enough to fly.
