The One About Todoroki's Conspiracy Theory Podcast (That Class A Pretends Not To Know About) by HopeNight for CC_Writes_Stuff
23 Aug 2020
Todoroki Shouto takes his conspiracy theories on the road with a podcast.
(Class A develops a conspiracy around the podcast in that they keep it from Todoroki that they know it exists. And draw other people in their web over the years.)

There’s a first time for everything.
The first time everyone crammed in Momo’s room to study, a mess of limbs and books on her bed.
The first time Mina burned crepes so badly the smoke alarm went off.
The first time a jumpscare got Sero so badly, he flipped off the back of the couch.
The first time Uraraka fell asleep at the table and accidentally sent it floating.
The first time someone realized Todoroki walked far too quietly, and far too cautiously around the dorms to be normal.
The first time Midoriya broke his toe on a door frame and kept walking through it.
The first time Kirishima woke up screaming through the walls.
The first time Tsuyu blanched at the sight of a needle.
The first time Bakugo dropped, clutching the back of his neck with eyes scarily vacant and detonating everything around him until Aizawa had to intervene.
It wasn’t always pretty, but the dorms were filled with firsts.

There are no maids in the Todoroki household. No one to see, no one his father trusts to stay quiet about what happens in his house. A pro hero is too busy to make meals and clean the house, and so for the first years of his life, his mother takes care of housework.
His mother is taken away, and so begins a classic tale of neglect. His father trains him into the ground, then leaves him to his own devices for the rest of the day. Fuyumi is almost always doing homework or hanging out with her friends (anything to get out of the house), so Shoto learns to survive.
He learns to cook and clean, and it is a pity his father didn’t want to create the perfect housewife, because he would impress anyone with his skills. Sometimes, Shoto wished that he didn’t have to be a hero, that he could run away and start a restaurant or something, and never have to see someone who hurt people again.
But Shoto has never been a dreamer, and so he shoves those thoughts to the back of his head and packs as many of his cooking tools as he can to bring to the dorms.
Five times Todoroki Shoto shares his practical knowledge (and one times he shares why he has it).

Todoroki Shouto has memories that he didn't make on his own, motor skills that his brain doesn't know how to parse, and a love of science and mathematics and physics that means he broke down his Quirk into its most intricate, universe-bending components at the age of seven.
In one universe, he wants to become a hero. In this one, even though he doesn't want to, he might have to.
(Featuring: a rapidly developing Shoutosquad, Quirk science, headcanons of all flavors, healthy and supportive sibling and sibling-like relationships, and Dadzawa.)

In a words of powerful individuals, one truly forgets the drawbacks of greatness. Of a strong quirk. Being the best of the best doesn't come without pain, especially when you lose control.
Two different tales of Todoroki and Bakugou, the best of the best. Two separate stories of how they lost control and accidentally displayed their true power.
“What’s with Todoroki?” He growled.
“Something’s wrong!” Aizawa was starting to get worried, Todoroki was normally very self-sufficient, what could’ve happened to his student that Midoriya has to go get him?
“Look!” Midoriya yelled. Aizawa felt like an idiot for not noticing. Most of the kids had stopped their workouts, and were currently staring at the duel-user.
Instead of the orange Aizawa should’ve seen, black and blue trumped his vision.
Instead of being intimidated at the boy’s roar, the man just sighed. “I warned you, I gave you an option. I was kind. Whatever happens next is your own fault, Bakugou Katsuki.” The man’s brown eyes bore into Bakugou. “This is on your head kid.” He put the helmet on and left, just like that.
