There’s a famous legend that goes like this: a mermaid princess saved a drowning prince, ask the assistance of a sea witch, gained her legs, then married the prince for their happily ever after. However, it didn’t go smoothly like that. You see, right at the happy couple’s wedding, the mermaid princess was kidnapped by an evil pirate, and the prince set out on a quest to save his mermaid-bride. In the end, the evil pirate was defeated, as good will always prevails.
Or... does it really goes like that?
For one, there was no mermaid princess – Yoon Jeonghan is a 100% bonafide commoner merman, thank you very much. There was no evil sea witch whatsoever either – she was pretty nice in her deal to get him legs. Also, he’s the one who saved the drowning princess, AND on his quest to save her once again from the clutch of the infamous pirate captain Choi Seungcheol. However, the more he learned about this pirate, the more he doubt the whole situation he found himself in...

(aka Seungcheol and Jeonghan are the only foster home in the district that can handle the Other supernaturals so that means a hell of a lot of kids under one roof but they really wouldn't have it any other way)
