Midoriya Izuku was going to be a quirkless hero.
Until he met All Might.
Then he decided to be a more or less quirkless hero.
One for All is sentient, stubborn, and an asshole. Izuku just wants to be a hero who saves as many people as possible, but having a vaguely homicidal and moderately sadistic quirk given to him isn't exactly helping most of the time. At least - between the quirk, the mad scientist, a purple panda, and a set of clothes - he isn't lonely anymore.

Izuku had finally had enough and snapped. But not in the same way most seem to think he would. No, Izuku did not become a villain of follow Katsuki's advise, instead he found his own way to be a hero and with it came a new family of sorts.
Izuku's family dies, Bakugo's a little shit and Izuku finds a new family through vigilantism.
Old name: A Vigilante fic 'cause I'm sad :,)

The cold seeped through his uniform as Izuku crawled to his feet, ice pooling in his bones-where were his shoes? “Hello?” Silence, save the rhythmic tap of the rain. “Come on! This isn’t funny!” Was this even a prank? It wasn’t very funny-though a lot of pranks weren’t when the joke was on you.
There's a new vigilante in town. The news dubs him Specter. Eraserhead wants to know who this "ghost" is... and why the kid keeps following him (and his new class) all over the city. Nedzu wants a new student. Bakugou Katsuki wants redemption.
Midoriya Izuku wants one more chance to change his mind.

“Kacchan,” Izuku said, getting the attention of the boy beside him. “What if I don’t want to be a hero?”
Izuku spoke as if he was setting the world on fire. As if he’d broken time in half and let the fabric of the universe collapse like a folding chair.
Katsuki twitched. “Then, what else do you want to be?”
(Where Izuku decides he wants to be hero support, learns computer code, makes some new friends, and digs way too deep into a villain case all for the sake of teamwork.)
