There's an old apartment complex on the edge of town. Very few tenants live there, and most who've visited will not return. If you stick around, you might be introduced to some of the charming characters who call this place home.
However, one mystery seems to bother everyone who sets place in the building: how the hell did the landlord get those scars?
(In this installment, Izuku Midoriya meets up with an old friend, Hitoshi Shinsou gets thrown a house-warming party, Atsuhiro Sako contemplates the schedule of everyone in the building, and everyone wants to know who exactly is the mysterious landlord named Dabi.)

Summary
The club was a nasty place. Rife with crime, addiction, dodgy deals and abuse. Dabi hated seeing what the place did to people, how it turned the young and innocent down on their luck into damaged, jaded fools. It wasn't kind to the experienced, let alone the precious untouched. Especially those who would have been perfect if it weren't for scars hidden under veils, those who could have been pure if they weren't owned by scum.
If he could stop the corruption of just one poor soul, he might have been some kind of hero. But then, heroics had never been for him.

Dabi poured himself a cup of tap water then opened the pill bottles. One one-hundred milligram tablet of Celebrex, for his chronic pain and nausea, and two eighty milligram tablets of Maturox, for his headspace.
He probably didn’t need two Maturox for today, but he’d rather have insomnia from overdoing it than risk Dropping in public. Dabi mixed a handful Maturox into a separate bottle of pain meds before shoving it, and two extra pull-ups into the pockets of his long coat.
Dabi was not going to risk a Drop today. God knows how fucked he’d be if he went into Headspace during his recruitment mission with Twice, Compress, and Hawks.
Especially Hawks.
The Caregiver’s scent already forced Dabi to plow through his suppressants in public spaces filled with strangers, but an hour drive to and from the site with Hawks and his packmates was just asking for trouble.

“Ah,” Komaeda notices, chewing on the final piece of kusamochi. “That’s unlucky, Hinata-kun.”
Teruteru gasps, pulling Hajime’s plate to his chest. “Could it be that this food, this food I made with nothing but my love and diligence is not good enough for a reserve course student?”
There’s a headache tapping against his forehead. “It's just not my favourite.”
“Well, sacré bleu, this would be given five stars by any food critic in the world!”
His headache is getting worse.
OR: Hinata Hajime and Class 77-B try to work out how to adapt to life on Jabberwock Island. They mostly succeed.
