    “Yes,” Jon says, thumb stroking back and forth across Martin's bare chest. “But I wasn't very good at—understanding myself at first, back then. So I'm glad you weren't.” It's nice to not have to pretend I'm getting something out of this that I don't need, he doesn't say, but he thinks he will someday. If Martin doesn't push him for it, understands it enough for that, then it doesn't matter.
