Summary
Jeongguk doesn’t know what he wants. He knows what he doesn’t want: to keep wasting his life on things he has no passion for, to look back when he’s old to realize that he never did anything worthwhile, anything he can take pride in. He knows that if he keeps living the way he is now, he’ll burn out, probably sooner rather than later. But he doesn’t see how what these people are offering—whatever it is—will sustain him financially, even if he does end up gaining some sort of fulfilment from it. He knows very little about what he may be about to get himself into.
Yoongi waits patiently for his answer, eyes soft in the golden light, face dewy from the steam of the jjigae. Jeongguk thinks that it’s a face he’d like to see more of, beyond this one night.
He thinks he wants to come back.

Was my soulmate going to be really clumsy? Were they going to spill their coffee on me as we passed each other on the street (preferably iced coffee, dear god)? Would we be in a fast food restaurant and they take my order by mistake? Would they accidentally trip me or stumble into me? Why did I end up getting injured somehow in most of these scenarios?
