    A mere nod to his truth, Keigo folded his arms and crossed a leg over the other with a contemplative sway. He wondered what prompted it, what happened the previous night to make him craft such syrupy slop. He'd always thought his sense was more refined than this, these words strung together from shots of liquor.
    Oh, he should just rip it out. It paled in comparison to his other works, it shuddered at the thought of his epic hidden beneath his bed being carefully pieced together in the early mornings and late afternoons to no one else's knowledge but his own.
    Yet, he was dragged back into the final line. His lashes lifted and with the woods around him coming back into focus he breathed it once more because within six words was his bared soul desperate to come forth.
    "Something akin to he and she."
    Snap. The cold settled like a blanket and his attention was stolen by a sudden presence.
    Turning to the sound he drained of color and his beating heart quieted when he came face to face with what couldn't be anything else but a corpse.
