In any case, he has to get himself under control. He cares about Wei Ying, so much so that he cannot, should not, do anything to disrupt the peace in their home. Wei Ying allowed him into his life, introducing him to the people he loves most, trusting him with a secret that is easy to judge and misunderstand. More importantly, Lan Zhan does not want him living in a motel again. No, it’s easier on his heart to know that Wei Ying is down the hall, safe, comfortable, and off-limits.
