Rey swallows. Her throat is a little dry. “So… So you know how it feels.”
“How what feels?”
“This.” She moves her hand in an oddly nonsensical gesture, an inchoate movement that simply encompasses the two of them. “Being… like this.”
He studies her for so long, Rey is almost sure that he has no clue what she means. But then something shifts in his eyes, and she begins to wonder why he looks at her like that. Like he’s trying to take her apart and piece her back together.
“I do,” he answers softly.

Summary
The Autumnal Hunt of Alderaan was an ancient hedonistic practice; a primal celebration of male virility that took place on the eve of the first blood moon. Being chosen as a tribute wasn’t a concern to Rey, having been born outside of traditional ritual mandates.
On a late-season forage, she is fatefully met at the edge of the forest by a dark-eyed lord. Their meeting sets a dizzying turn of events in motion, a nightmarish moonlit chase that culminates with Rey's claiming.

Strangely enough, seven days spent in a bed with a stranger for excellent pay doesn't seem too bad a perspective for Rey Kenobi. And since work isn’t easy to come by in New York City these days, let alone for a newcomer actress that, apparently, no one has been waiting for, Rey takes an unusual job: as living art in a performance piece by world famous artist L. Skywalker. For a week (AND EXCELLENT PAY!) she has to spend her days in a room inside a room at the MoMa. So far, so weird. But when her mattress-mate turns out to be an old, very unfortunate acquaintance, their tiny fake bedroom turns out to be a whole lot tinier than Rey had anticipated.
