Summary
Patrick is living in Schitt's Creek, content in his post apocalypse life. That is, until he started getting texts from his ex fiancé's phone, but it isn't her. For a reason Patrick isn't quite ready to admit to himself, he convinces 'David' to make his way to Schitt's Creek, a boarded up against the undead. Fighting his feelings, Patrick must guide David to Schitt's Creek, hoping that he will get there safely.
This is an alternate POV of Figmentof's Zombie Apocalypse story, 'Make It To Me' written in Patrick's perspective.

When Patrick stands up, David is already sprinting past him; his long legs, clad in black athletic joggers, striding smoothly across the dirt of the infield until he reaches second base. The muscles of David’s back shift under his white t-shirt, and the mid-afternoon sunlight casts highlights and shadows that accentuate the pull of the fabric across David’s broad shoulders and the loose fit at his trim waist. It takes Patrick a moment to react and run after him, heading towards third on legs that he knows are strong and powerful, but not nearly as graceful as David’s. As he turns to face Patrick, David hurls a throw so fast and strong Patrick almost misses it.
Or, a college AU in which David Rose is just really fucking good at baseball.

“Um…” Fuck, now what? “It… is.” Is he supposed to apologize? Oh my God, is this what parenthood is? Constantly saying sorry for your fuck ups? That you can’t actually call ‘fuck ups’ because your kid will call you out on inappropriate verbiage?
Or, David and Patrick befriend a single mom and her son. Well, Patrick does. David is still feeling things out.
