When college student/barista Hinata Shouyou attends his first college volleyball game, he doesn’t expect to find the most beautiful man he’s ever met.
Nor does he expect him to be an asshole.
When Kageyama Tobio needs a quick drink of coffee, he doesn’t expect to have his drink spilled all over him.
Nor does he expect the barista to be so attractive.
Two idiots can never seem to say the right thing.

Akaashi's been able to see strings of fate ever since he was a child, but the most troublesome one by far is the red one on his right pinky. He's fared well up til now--he has a comfortable job as the personal assistant to the president of the Fuku Hotel Group, currently Bokuto's mom. And as long as Bokuto behaves himself, that role will be his in time. Akaashi will do anything to protect and support his friend, even if it means keeping their fate a secret.
In which Akaashi observes, records, worries, and all-round takes everything very seriously. Now, if only Bokuto could, too.
Updates MWF (at least). Now with cover art!
- Part 2 of A comfortable pile of tropes
Akaashi Keiji considers himself to be a fairly intelligent person.

The door opens, then closes. Kenma blinks one eye open to see Kuroo coming up next to him, draping a wet cloth over the fan. It helps only a marginal amount, some cool droplets of water spraying on Kenma's face.
"Ugh, I can't take this," Kuroo says, clearly not satisfied with the results. Kenma feels heat prickling at the back of his neck, because he knows exactly what's next.
