“Stay with me, Taehyungie,” the voice whispered in his ear, so sweet, so comforting.
“You know I would if I could,” he heard himself reply.
Plush lips pressed to Taehyung’s cheek, then traced a line down from his face to his neck, to the dip by his collarbone.
Shivers again.
“I love you,” the voice whispered.
Taehyung could feel tears welling up in his eyes. He opened his mouth, so ready to say the words back, to print the words into the other boy’s skin.
But instead, he woke up.

Hoseok pinked at the way Seokjin phrased it. Seokjin was clearly not into it, and he needed to find a way to salvage the situation. “Yeah,” Hoseok shrugged, trying to remain nonchalant. “You know, like, a bro date. I’m a bro, you’re a bro, so I’ll take you out on a bro date to make up for all the bad ones.”

Or, when Seokjin comes home after another bad date, his roommate Hoseok decides to take Seokjin out on a fake date to make up for it. What Seokjin doesn't know, is that Hoseok's been secretly in love with him for years, and that this fake date isn't all that fake after all.
