If true love's kiss can wake you from The Deadlights and love declarations can save you from Pennywise's madness, then it stands to reason that re-carving initials into the Kissing Bridge after defeating It--the culmination of a long-standing true-love-since-they-were-kids story--summons enough Uncle Stevie turtle magic to save an only mostly dead Eddie Kaspbrak.
Also includes references to vintage Return of the Jedi valentines, Bryan Adams lyrics, Pound Puppies, and, of course, a Street Fighter tee shirt that is available at Macy's, not Target, but artistic license.
(Almost) All of King's Maine canon exists here. I slipped in some references to Castle Rock and Desperation/The Regulators because I like them so much.

Eddie gives him an emphatic middle finger, sliding off his stool and pretending his heart isn’t beating wildly out of his chest.

Summary
Richie’s not trying to pretend there’s such a thing as life going back to normal. He’s just… Well, not everyone can be like Bev and Eddie; he doesn’t have anyone to leave, any life to say fuck it to. He’s not even fully saying fuck it to the closet, but at least he’s told the Losers. Baby steps, maybe, but he’s pulling himself from its grip. Because if Eddie can leave another abusive “protector” and move in with fucking roommates at 40, Richie can start to wean himself away from the controlling protections in his own mind.

“Fuck you, man,” Eddie says, but he’s smiling a little.
Richie takes a breath, then lets it out, staring out across the parking lot instead of looking at Eddie. “So, hey. I just wanted to say—I’m sorry for being such an asshole about everything last night.”
Eddie glances over at him. “Are you just apologizing right now because you think we’re gonna die? Because that doesn’t exactly make me feel better.”
“No,” Richie says. “Well, yeah. Maybe. I am sorry, though.”
“Fine,” Eddie says. It’s snippy, but not in a particularly mean way.

"Yes?" She does not – does most assuredly not – react to him calling her Rebecca.
"Beard has a Casio watch from 1988."
"I see."
"He, uh, well, he doesn't need a fancy watch. His watch already does what he needs it to do, you understand?"
