“Can you fetch me some gummy-worms when you come back, Love?”, Kara yelled after Lena who got up to make herself some tea. She almost dropped the kettle when her brain registered the term of endearment.
Love? Since when was she Kara’s Love? Oh god, was she Kara’s Love? Nope, not getting the hopes up...
“Earlier, when I was making tea, you called me Love? I was just wondering where it was coming from since you never called me that before.”
“You always call me darling, so I wanted to have something to call you too.”
“But you do know that you only call someone ‘Love’ when you actually love them, right?”, Lena asked, anxious for the answer. Stupid hope.
the one where Kara accidentally calls Lena 'Love' which sparks a deep conversation about platonic and romantic love, past relationships and desires - with two happy endings of course.

It would be slightly suspicious if she’d just given the one apple turnover to Emma Swan without explanations, thus Regina baked two apple turnovers just in case. Her plan would have had a higher success rate if she’d actually marked which apple turnover was which…
Unfortunately, she did not.

‘I’m getting married,’ Lena breathes emphatically, entreatingly, and her attention snaps to like a band pulled taut. She watches with increasingly disaffected pliancy as Lena seizes both her hands in one of her own and flashes her left at her, right under her nose. ‘Say something,’ Lena laughs, a little too breathless, a little too conscious. ‘You’re making me nervous.’
Don’t, she thinks she could’ve said, and the vehemence of the very thought startles her. Why? is a little better, syntactically, in theory—less cruel, an open question, room for conversation. Really? is enthusiastic, breakwater, appropriate, adequate.
‘Oh, god,’ she says instead.
In which Lena announces her engagement, to everyone’s immense horror and Kara’s heartbroken disbelief, and everything that follows after.

“You do not know me?”
The woman’s voice is thick, low and accented with a lilt Morgana has never heard before. Rough, but pleasing to the ear. It rumbles over Morgana’s skin, leaving gooseflesh in its wake.
“I –“ Morgana hesitates, thrown off by the question. She clutches the runestone harder. As a last resort her plan was to try to send whoever was summoned back through the rift if they proved disagreeable, but this woman is even more formidable and yet somehow less threatening than Morgana could have imagined. “The spell was to find the most powerful being in creation. I didn’t know who would answer the call.”
The woman frowns. “Me? Not her?”
In a desperate attempt to reclaim her throne, Morgana casts a dangerous summoning spell to call for aid. When the call is answered by a woman with no name and an even stranger story, the façade of vengeance and control that Morgana has cultivated so carefully begins to fall apart.
Emma is tired. Raising an exuberant three year old is hard all on her own. Thank god for Regina, who is always there for her, as a friend, a confidant and a nap partner.
Not that best friends should be napping together quite this often...
