The Paladins accidentally overdose on Altean truth serum, making them unable to hold back their true thoughts and feelings. The nightmare worsens when one of the Paladins reveals their crush… in front of their crush. Things begin to get out of hand, and if the problem isn’t addressed soon, Voltron will suffer.
Or, without sounding intoxicatingly melodramatic: Keith gets roped into admitting how willing he is to date Lance without meaning to. Cue Lance’s teasing—which he inevitably takes too far—and ends up getting a taste of his own medicine. Despite the two’s constant back-and-forth, their inability to communicate is putting a divide between the team, and everyone’s on edge. After all, when two of the five defenders of the galaxy are obliviously pining gays, who can blame them?

Steve Rogers has lived for entirely too long—long enough to see the world's end. The heroes are gone, and the Earth is pushing what's left of mankind towards the exit.
But when a makeshift team rises from the ashes, when a mysterious presence all but drags Steve there, he begins to think there may be hope yet. As they shoot for the stars one last time, Steve will get proof yet again that the future is nothing if not an echo of the past.

Bucky sometimes caught himself thinking, about the war: is all of this happening because old men saw the raw life in young men and wanted to squelch it? It was the same thing he had thought in school. Running track. When he had worked in the crew building the World’s Fair Railroad. And especially when he got his draft letter: they want to crush us like a piece of tin on train tracks.
Begins at Kreischberg prison camp, continues after the rescue.
Lots of angst. Lots of literary references, foreshadowing, and symbolism porn. A little bit of actual porn.
Oh, and also there’s a bit where we learn seven-year-old Bucky tried to play pirates by naming Steve “Jolly Rogers.”

The one where Bucky is a dragon, Steve is a water nymph, and somehow, they fall in love.
Keith's had a hard life. It's a struggle to un-learn a worldview that's been his truth for as long as he can remember. It's even more difficult when he factors in an intergalactic war, being half-alien, embarrassing crushes on people who are obviously straight, and some weirder, more unexpected surprises along the way.
Keith has a godawful sense of self-preservation and enough trust issues to topple a skyscraper. Lance just wants to be his friend, dammit, and maybe a bit more (sue him). Shiro needs a stress-ball.
