A collection of all the ficlets for #SpookySlick 2019, the prompt calendar for which can be found HERE . Summary will change to reflect the most current day, and warnings will be chapter-specific at the beginning of each.
Day 1: Scenting = After the Stag King ended the fae-human wars, the truce demanded one human tribute each year to be given to the fae. Will has just been chosen as this year's tribute.
Day 2: Surprise Heat/Rut = Only the children of demons or angels go into heat, so when Will wakes up one morning sweaty and horny instead of sweaty and afraid, he realizes there must've been quite a few things his mother didn't tell his father. To get answers, Will enacts an ancient ritual meant to summon his mother. Instead, he accidentally summons Hannibal.

Even many years later, Hannibal isn’t quite able to put into words what, exactly, drew him to step off the beaten path and take a detour to a nearby stream, although he supposes seeing an enormous crowd of pitchfork-wielding peasants gathered around a pyre to burn a supposed witch-boy is reason enough.
"Useless things are fit only for burning," the boy - Will Graham - tells him, so Hannibal plucks him off the pyre and goes about making him useful as his apprentice.
In order to ascend to the throne, Will Graham has to prove that he can win the approval and support of the old gods of the forest. So of course he sets his heart on one of the most ancient gods of all: the Ravenstag.
Will isn’t really sure why he buys the bookshop, in the end. He could have bought anything with the rather hefty please-keep-your-mouth-shut settlement from the FBI – turns out that the only thing more embarrassing than locking up the wrong person is wrongly locking up one of your own people – but he’d been browsing the ads looking for a place to stay, a place not tainted by bad memories and nosy reporters and former colleagues, and he’d seen an ad for a bookshop. He'd thought that there was nothing special about it, except that it was the change he needed after weeks he spent in the bowels of the BSHCI.
That is, until it turns out that the bookshop is special, because it is haunted by one Hannibal Lecter.

In a world where kemonomimi were created as fetish fuel/sex slaves, they have fought for their rights and are now part of society, even though many of them are still mistreated, and a portion of the population is almost as helpless to complain as real animals. This is where the Kemonomimi Division steps in. Will Graham wishes he wasn't stuck doing government work, but it's not like he can turn his back on the job now.
ETA: And now there's a part where Revolver Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid is a lot less Revolver and a lot more ocelot, because his canonical dates line up pretty well with the kemonomimi timeline. You can easily skip it, but it has broken the seal for other fandoms to be in this, so we'll have to see what happens.
