Based on BBC Radio 1's Heart Rate Monitor Challenge
“Ok. What we’re going to do here is to try and raise that heart rate. We’re going to set a benchmark first and then try to raise it from there with questions from people in your life. So to start off, I just need to tick these off my consent form, can you confirm that you have no idea what we’re going to ask and show you?” Doctor DT asks, tapping the pen on their clipboard where a form or probably a script is attached.
Or Adora is an actor, promoting her latest movie. Her last promo for the day is to guest at DT's radio show where she is hooked up to a heart rate monitor and the host tries to get her pulse to peak.

“So, I saw the moving truck outside. New neighbors huh? I wonder if they’re anything like the Star siblings.” Bow says as he starts the game console. Oh no. I shouldn’t mention the handshake thing. He’ll never let me live it down.
“I met them this morning. They seem nice. There are just the three of them – mom and 2 daughters. Oh and a dog which I didn’t meet. They say the youngest, Adora, is also a senior and will start at BMH on Monday so there’s that.” Glimmer responds, starting the game. There’s an uptick on the corner of her mouth when she says Adora’s name.
“Oh cool! Maybe we’ll add her to the best friend squad.” Yeah, no Bow. Do you want me to die?
Or Adora moves next door to Glimmer and everyone in the gang is crushing on her.

“Motherfucker! Scorpia! Adora thinks that the flowers are for you,” she shouts from the entryway.
Scorpia peeks her head out from the kitchen and walks over to Catra, “Well, they are for me, Wildcat. Thanks, by the way.” She grabs the flowers from Catra’s hand and turns to take them to a vase.
“No, Scorp. She thinks they’re FOR YOU FROM ME.” Catra says, stopping Scorpia in her tracks, emphasizing the last four words.
Scorpia looks back, “Oh? Oh. Oh!” Realization kicking in.

The star really tied the whole thing together. Adora lowers herself down and Catra hops off her shoulders. "Not bad." Catra says, gesturing to the tree. She turns to look at Adora who wasn't looking at the tree, she was staring at Catra for god knows what reason.
"Yeah," Adora says and her voice is thick for some reason but she presses on. "we make a pretty good team." Catra bumps her shoulder against Adora's.
"Yeah," Catra says, grin spreading across her face, she examines the tree again. "we do." They shuffle closer and Catra feels Adora's hand beside her own and before she knows what she's really doing she connects their pinky fingers together. They stand like that for a while before settling back on the couch.
Or, the Christmas au I spent countless hours on because Christmas makes me soft and what could be better than a catradora Christmas au with them as childhood best friends turned lovers?

“Are you bored yet?” Adora whispers, leaning a little further into Catra’s space. She swears she hears the other woman’s heart rate pick up speed, even over the thumping bass of… some kind of synth-pop sea shanty.
“I was getting there,” she replies slowly, skimming the soft skin at the base of Adora’s neck with her thumb absentmindedly; Adora swallows and Catra traces the movement with her eyes before looking back up. “Why?”
“You said you’d leave if it got boring,” Adora murmurs, leaning into the touch ever so slightly. “If you want to leave… I’ll go with you. If you want.” Catra’s answering smile is slow and dangerous.
“Oh I’m so bored, princess. I think you might need to rescue me.”
