Summary
There have been many lies in Asami Sato's life. Some she lived, and others fed to her. But, since you can't stop progress anymore than you can stop the world from spinning, unraveling the truth, about herself and everything around her, always takes a back seat to the current crisis. Of course, the strongest and most debilitating lie of all is the one she forces upon herself.
Since, to focus on herself would be unforgivable. Selfish. Arrogant. If so many are suffering, how can she allow herself to grieve? To put her own well-being first? To be happy? She can't. Not yet. But maybe, once all of this is over...
Maybe.
And yet, no matter how hard she fights, or how clever she is, she can never turn that "maybe" into "now".
This is the story of how Asami Sato went beyond the impossible, time and time again.
From her lowest point to her greatest triumph. Drowning in denial and grief to shattering the laws of reality to find happiness.

Summary
Korrasami AU where Book 1 saw Asami as an Equalist spy. An attempt at a canon-adjacent series, that ends up in the same place, but weaves more nuance and care into the Korra/Asami/Mako love triangle, and gives Korrasami more development earlier in the series. All stories in this series exist in the same AU.
