Fei Du halts in his advance, but it is a very carefully considered distance. He’s close enough Luo Wenzhou could reach out and put a hand to his waist, narrow and tempting as it is through the magic of tailoring and youth and something entirely Fei Du—unrepentant. Closer, and his earrings sway from his pierced lobes, to and fro; Luo Wenzhou is caught in their wake, made quicksilver and vital with Fei Du’s studied movements. The last time Luo Wenzhou had seen him, his ears had been unpierced. The earrings are nice on him. Quite.
