Summary
Jungkook is the “spare to the heir” - largely disregarded and now, bartered off in a political marriage to the most infamously monstrous man: Kim Taehyung, Lord of House Kim, whom they call the shadowed beast.
Taehyung, reviled and feared and worshipped from a young age for his terrifying powers, has no interest in the war for the throne. But when he meets and falls in love with his new intended, he thinks: he would climb the bloodied stairs to claim the accursed throne, if only to crown Jungkook as the rightful queen.
Lord Taehyung sees something worthy in Jungkook, who has only ever been treated as the spare to be discarded. And when Jungkook’s ability manifests and comes to light, the rest of the world, too, will come to see.

"It's raining." He states to no one.
"It is." Another voice replies, rounding the tree. His dark doe eyes meet Yoongi's and crinkle at the sides.
“You’re Jungkook.”
“Wow, do you announce all your observations out loud?”
"No, but you’re invisible when you’re knocking stuff off my dresser and scaring the shit out of me." Yoongi counters. "..Is this what you look like?”
“Last time I checked.”
Yoongi watches him look down at his hands, dotted with delicate tattoos, and then studies his own callouses. He shivers as the cold water hits his open palms. “Shouldn’t we go inside?”
Jungkook sits at his side under the willow, smiling contentedly and shaking his head. “It’s been so long since I last felt rain.”

Summary
Yoongi and Namjoon are ghost hunters for their Youtube channel. Namjoon is a believer, scared of his own shadow. Yoongi is his barely-ever-startled skeptic boyfriend. Neither thinks much of it when Yoongi teases a ghost at a haunted location and invites him back home with them because it's nothing out of the ordinary.
But as time goes by Yoongi's world is completely flipped upside down. He never thought one day he'd be the one desperately trying to convince Namjoon that ghosts are real and that one is in love with him.***
“Jungkook, if you like Namjoonie here, let us know.” They wait for a moment. Nothing. “Oh, don’t be shy now Jungkookie…” Yoongi feels a little dumb talking to the air, but it keeps making Namjoon giggle quietly so he doesn’t stop. “Jungkook, do you have a crush on Namjoon?”
The radio chatters something inaudible, and Namjoon perks up.
“What? Come again, Jungkook?” Yoongi asks, pretending to directly acknowledge the ghost and not just Namjoon’s incredibly annoying noise machine.
“I… crush… Joon… like”
“Ooooh there we go, that’s some spicy gossip.” Yoongi laughs, Namjoon’s face bright red.
