Summary
One night changed best friends Stiles and Lydia's lives forever. Now they are parents and trying to juggle their lives and all the people in them whilst everyone believes they are in a loving relationship. However Stiles and Lydia will never be anything but best friends who just happen to share a child.
When Derek arrives in town newly single he slowly begins to fall for Stiles and his beautiful 2 year old Lila. Upon meeting Lydia for the first time Derek feels torn. Does he allow his budding relationship with Stiles to grow, breaking up a seemingly perfect family, or will he sacrifice his own happiness to keep them together.
When Stiles meets Derek will he leave the security of the routine he has come to rely on over the past few years in order to take a chance at love or will he hide behind the walls he built up years ago to protect the ones he loves.

“Woah are those real?” Stiles found himself saying as he reached out and squeezed the man’s (it was a man and not a brick wall Stiles’ brain supplies) bicep which was bulging under the guy’s shirt. Stiles hasn’t even looked at the man’s face too preoccupied gasping at the tone muscles in front of him.
“Something tells me you’re the infamous Stiles.”
“Stiles, yes that’s my name, well it’s not really my name that’s too hard for anyone to pronounce so it’s just Stiles. Or you know, some colorful names the lower IQs of this place like to make up. But Stiles, you can call me Stiles.” Stiles rambles on, watching the man try to suppress a grin and failing. He has a gorgeous smile that made his bunny teeth present and his eyes crinkle and Stiles thinks he might be a little bit in love.
“Nice to meet you Stiles, why don’t you take a seat.” The man, Stiles doesn’t even know his name and he’s already starting to plan their wedding, says with a nod to the already full classroom. Stiles hasn’t even heard the bell ring. Huh.
“But I didn’t get your name,” Stiles replies.
“Mr. Hale, I’m your new English teacher.”
Fuck.
