Summary
When Stephen Strange looked into the future, he only saw one in which they won: the one in which he gave up the Time Stone and Thanos snapped.
In that future, Thanos snaps his fingers, killing half of life in the Universe; five days, Tony Stark and Nebula behead the Titan and undo the snap.Simple enough, right?

Summary
In 2018, on Earth-199999, Thanos gathered all the Infinity Stones and snapped his fingers. Half of the Universe was promptly dusted, and a third was further killed as a direct consequence of the dusting. Weeks later, Thanos used the Infinity Stones once more and destroyed them - thus destroying the Universe itself.
Stephen Strange saw this, but there was no way to save them or the Universe, no time.
And then the Infinity Stones themselves gave him time. Gave him a second chance to save another Universe, their sister Earth: Earth-200207.
A quest that takes place across space and time, within souls and minds, with power and reality. A bet that could save a trillion people or could condemn them to a future worse than he one of Earth-199999. A game of chess against the butterfly effect, with one single starting player:

Summary
Dr. Strange looks at the world after Thanos and, faced with its seemingly irreparable brokenness, breaks his own oath. Tony, Stephen, and Loki go back in time for one more chance - an intentional choice, because they are each other's insurance against repeating the same mistakes. Tony wakes up shortly before the Stark Expo with the reactor's palladium core still poisoning him. Stephen wakes up with undamaged hands and a flourishing medical career. Loki wakes up in Asgard one day before Thor's coronation.
"Do I dare disturb the universe? / In a minute there is time / for decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse."[ Yet another take on that time travel fic with lots of worldbuilding, hand-wavey comic book science, political intrigue, inventing, nerding out, and a broken Tony trying to fix a broken world - but this time he's not alone. ]
