The buzzer went off and when she answered it, a gruff, deep voice of a mover asked to be let up. He sounded younger than the man she had spoken to over the phone, though with the name Han & Son Moving Company, there had to be a son involved.
She anticipated someone with grimy hands and a beer belly that stretched out a back brace. Instead, when she opened the door, she met a solid chest confined by a white tee shirt, and she blinked as she glanced up to his narrow face, a mane of dark hair framing high cheekbones and soft, plush lips.

A US Air Force remix of Chapter 13 of We'll Run Like We're Awesome by The Monkey Cabal, which in itself is an AU of the first Avengers movie. That series lays tracks in parallel with all of the MCU.
This one's based on this tumblr post (I'm not the anon there).
If you do more with it, definitely contact The Monkey Cabal! I may not be reliably online.
ETA: I just want to reiterate that I contacted the author before I publicly posted anything with their universe. This is not just a fandom courtesy thing; AO3 as an organization protects fanworkers' copyright. Please be considerate of fanwork creators. We're producing these for free, for you.

“I don’t want to sell,” Rey said. “That doesn’t seem like a complicated concept for you to grasp, and the fact that you can’t get started ruining another block isn’t really my problem.”
“Ruining?” The furrow in his brow deepened; so did his voice.
“I saw what you did across the street. That ridiculous monolith? You’ll forgive me if I’m not exactly enthused at seeing another block wiped out to match it.”
He blinked at her. Anger was evident on his face, blossoming up swiftly, then contained again, neutral. But Rey could already see that he had a tell: the way his full lips pursed slightly, then relaxed, like he was chewing on his own hasty reply and swallowing it back down in favor of something more thoughtful. That, and the faint tic under his eye.
OR: Ben Solo is a ruthless property developer, and Rey Johnson is the lone holdout on the block. She does not intend to give up what's hers, not for anything. (Not even for a pair of pretty eyes.)
His eyes widen a little, and then his face falls. He looks down at his boots. And there’s something so striking, so sad, about the would-be Supreme Leader of the First Order, the grandson and heir of Darth Vader, the scion of so many bloodlines and noble houses and long-dead worlds, standing there, looking utterly forlorn, in an unflattering, ochre-yellow technician’s jumpsuit, his long hair falling about his face, staring down at his grease-stained hands.
'Ben. Let me show you what I see.'
They’re a few meters apart now; when has she moved towards him, or he towards her? Perhaps they are just two binary planets, eternally caught up in each other’s orbit, destined to collide.

An unemployed pot-smoking slacker and amateur diplomat, Darcy Lewis ditches Earth and hits the road, eventually chilling with friends and kindred spirits, Thor and Jane, in viking space. While the kooky former intern is introduced to the Allfather, she slays a wild mundak and is recognized as Thor's sister for her bravery, allowing Princess Darcy to continue her many misadventures and ultimately help her BFF rebuild the Bifrost observatory on Midgard, reopening space travel to Earth for all of mankind.
But first, she's gotta rescue her iPod (and the Team Cap Scoobies) with Steve and Bucky, and she sort of, accidentally, invades Midgard with a force of Odin's Einherjar along the way. But it's coolio because Darcy's got a gift for making lemonade out of stuff, like that time the Light Elves made her their Elf Queen, and that other time, she saved Fandral from an overamorous Giant Hare. Besides all that, parades are fun and Darcy rocks a horned helm like nobody's bidness.
*Originally conceived as a road trip through space inspired by Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke.
