Summary
When Will Graham looks into someone's eyes, he doesn't just see eyes. He sees everything- their childhood, their trauma, their heartbreak. It's too much for him to deal with. So he stays home, never leaving the house unless he has to. He keeps his list of friends small, and his list of acquaintances smaller. He consults with Jack Crawford from his home, ever since the incident happened. Jack sends over the crime scene photos, and Will analyzing. It's not ideal, but it gets the job done.
But the Minnesota Shrike has no crime scenes. Sometimes, compromises have to be made.

Things seem almost perfect, until one day the empty shop across the street is leased to frumpy fellow Oxford alumni, who doesn't seem to remember Crowley nearly as well as he remembers him, which really shouldn't bother him as much as it does - it was ten years ago after all, and it wasn't even that good of a kiss.
