A bunch of somewhat short, interconnected but ultimately stand alone fics set before, in, and after the She-Ra Canon, exploring friendships, romances, physical and emotional intimacy, anxiety, depression, healing, and more! Mainly Catradora with background couples floating about.
Fics will be in the T-E range because G rated stuff doesn't get to say fuck.
Also, for anyone wondering, I'm working off the "canon takes place over about three years" thread of thought, and went with Catra and Adora being eighteen at the beginning of the series and everyone else (save Entrapta, Spinnetossa, and Frosta) floating somewhere in that general late high school/college age zone, because ages and timelines are somewhat vague in the actual show. Aside from the obvious exceptions, most of the cast are early to mid twenties for the post-canon stuff.
“I just don’t understand how you two can be so gay for each other and so oblivious at the same time.”
“I don’t know what you mean.”
“Sure you don’t, and I know your ‘relationship’ is none of my business, but it’s painful to be around you two sometimes.”
“Wow, harsh. And even if I did know what you were talking about, which I don’t, Adora is just a friend and it’s better that way.”
“I cannot believe how deep you two are in denial…”
It’s Adora and Catra’s last year as undergraduates in college and they are determined to make the best of it! After growing up as childhood friends and getting accepted into the same university, Adora and Catra have been sharing a tiny cramped two-bedroom apartment off campus for the past three years and have done a lot of self discovering during that time. Will their relationship change or the course of this year? Or will everything stay the same?
This work focuses on the events surrounding college life as Catra and Adora discover not only the joys of being a senior in college, but also their deeper feelings for one another. Each chapter will focus on a new activity that Catra and Adora partake in chronologically month to month.
- Part 1 of Two Hearts Intertwined
“Let’s make a bet.”
Catra straightened, ears perking up. She liked bets. She liked winning them.
“If we win the game tonight, you’ll go to the dance with me tomorrow.”
Laughter ripped from Catra’s throat. She tossed her head back, fangs bared in open-mouthed giggles. “Wow, you really don’t want to go with me. The Rebels kick our asses every year.”
“That’s not true!” Indignation sparked and died in Adora’s blue eyes. “Well, we almost had them last year.”
“Almost isn’t winning, Adora. Besides, if we don't win,” asked Catra, shuffling to fit her arms into the sleeves of Adora’s letterman as discreetly as possible, “what’s in it for me?”
Adora blinked. “What do you want?”
Not that she was stupid enough to say that.

Catra had imagined lots of scenarios for her first bus ride to school. Annoying people screaming on the seats around of her, getting kicked out by the bus driver for punching a random guy (wouldn’t be the first time), or whatever other torture school buses could provide.
She never imagined she’d be listening to Taylor Swift and sharing earphones with a complete stranger. A very cute stranger. And nothing felt weird or awkward., like if Adora and Catra had known each other for a long time already. Maybe the universe wasn’t so mean after all.
Catra likes to pretend she's too cool to have feelings.
