Summary
It's Valentine's day in the Archives.
Pining? Who said anything about anyone pining? How embarrassing would it be to be single and pining over your coworkers on Valentine's day?
(Tim, Jon, and Martin just need a little push to get them together.)

Jon sometimes makes jokes about being a professional voyeur. But Martin is well aware that, in private, Jon is far more interested in being the one watched.

Summary
He peers between the branches at the spiderweb, gently pushing some away to get a better view. He wonders what kind of spider it is, if he can catch a glimpse of it. There aren’t that many types in England, but--
Oh. He doesn’t spot the spider, but there’s something else trapped in the middle of the web. A large moth, its wings splayed helpless and immobile. As he watches, he sees its legs wriggle ineffectually in the air. It’s a surprisingly pitiful sight, making Martin’s heart unexpectedly wrench a bit for the poor thing.
-
Martin saves a moth from a spider. He doubts that this decision will have any sort of serious repurcussions.

Sometimes Martin is fine. Amazing. Perfect.
Sometimes the weight of trauma and mental illness crush him unexpectedly, like a freight train falling from the sky.
Then: he counts. One, two, three, four, five. And hopes he can breathe again when it is over.Series

Summary
Martin hears the catboy again before he sees him. One second there’s another weak, muffled cough, and the next second it’s breaking off into a frantic hiss as the small figure scrabbles backward, pressing its back into the wall where it’s trapped between Martin and the bin.
Oh, he thinks, a runaway.Bookmarked by ghostofnoodlewrap

The last thing Jon remembers is working into the night in the Archives in early 2016. Now he’s in a cabin in the middle of nowhere, Scotland, with Martin Blackwood as his only companion. Obviously Jon’s missed something along the way here...

Summary
Martin turns it over and looks at the front cover again. The woman is still smiling brightly, one hand on her cocked hip and the other raised invitingly. Something blooms in his chest at the sight of her immaculate outfit, her contented expression. Envy? Longing? It’s silly, but she looks so perfectly gratified in her role: she is a Good Housekeeper, and she knows it. Martin’s never been even half that sure of himself.
He shakes his head at the flight of fancy. It’s just a book. Mrs. Meek—if that’s who the woman on the cover is supposed to be—isn’t even real.

Martin finds a book that's sure to improve his and Jon's home life!
