  1. Summary

The thing about Dumbledore was that he favored telling people what he thought they needed to hear, rather than telling them the plain truth. For example, when he told Harry Potter in second year that only a true Gryffindor could pull Godric's sword out of the Sorting Hat, he was just trying to reassure a student who was uncertain they belonged to their House. He was, however, not only lying, but wrong. A Hogwarts student belongs to *all* the Houses, and many things other than a sword have sprung mysteriously from the Sorting Hat.

    (or)

The four Founders of Hogwarts were by no means the greatest or most powerful wixen ever known, but on Hogwarts grounds and over Hogwarts students, their influence is sacrosanct. Whether through the magic of the Sorting Hat and the castle itself, or some other cunning, mysterious means of reaching through time, help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it.

  2. Summary

short series of crack fics about Doc Ock, Spiderman, and Pride Parade. Adjusted to be a series rather than a single fic bc the first part stands alone.

  4. Summary

…in which the villains try their hand at heroing.

AU of the early MCU which imagines circumstances where the famous big baddies (Red Skull, Loki, etc.) believably turn out to be Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Basically a series of what-ifs I want to explore because I love villains, flawed heroes and complex antagonists. The basic conceit here is to see if I can, with only a few small changes to canon, provoke a wildly different but still plausible universe.

  5. Summary

…in which Odin banishes Loki instead, and Thor does not react well to losing his little brother.

This series is a collection of the fics from my series “A Universe that Almost Existed” that, surprise surprise, have to do with my version of Thor, as a convenience for the folks who are only interested in this part of the AU.

The beat that his heart skipped became the moment time halted and the world went silent.
