Summary
Julie smiled a little as she opened the door to the studio and stood in the darkness, but it was bittersweet. The Phantoms were gone, but at least they were at peace.
Or not.
She turned the lights on and stared in horror as Luke, Reggie and Alex were hit by a jolt, curled on the floor and shaking with pain. There was nothing she could do to help; she couldn't touch them, and they wouldn't leave to save themselves. And Julie had to watch as her Phantoms were ripped from existence.

Summary
Reggie knew Luke didn't like him in the same way. He knew that. Each time that he hugged Luke, or smiled at him, or shared a mic, it hurt, but he would rather have Luke as a friend than not at all.
Luke wished that Reggie would like him, but Reggie was too good for him. He would never love him in the same way, but Luke just couldn't stop hugging him or hanging out with him whenever he could.
Alex wished that his friends were less oblivious.

Summary
He'd tell Reggie tonight, Luke decided, watching his best friend as they headed with Alex out of the Orpheum in search of street dogs. Just a few hours, and he would be telling his best friend that he had been in love with him for two years.
They'd play the Orpheum, establish Sunset Curve as a respectable band, and he would finally tell Reggie how he felt. There was no way it would go wrong.

Bobby had never had many friends. He never expected to be the kind of guy to get friends who enjoyed spending time with him outside of school, let alone the kind who got three best friends that became more like brothers to him.
Somehow though, he found the three people who became family to him. Who inspired him, and made him feel like being a musician and being in a rock band wasn't just a wild dream. In one night, they would be able to play at the Orpheum and become legends. And in that one night, everything that he had was ripped away from him.
