    Summary

    In the 1920s, Hotel Cynthus was a bustling hotel in the heart of the city, hosting wealthy and eccentric alike in its rooms and suites. When asked about the origin of the name, the owner, referred to only by her first name Diana, mentioned childhood trips to Delos, looking up to the peak of the mountain. As sadly befalls many once-bustling locations, the nightlife and hotspots of the city shifted further south, and the hotel remained closed for many years before being restored as part of an inner city revitalization project. Now home to students from the nearby university as well as an art college and vocational college, the student housing centre, still popularly called by the building’s original name, remains a historical landmark and features artwork ranging from the beautiful to the bizarre, secrets still lingering before the dead ends of corridors and tucked beneath forgotten flights of steps.
