They crouch side by side, their heads bent together to observe Russ’s big, nimble hands as he weaves the knot into existence. Although he’s surely capable of doing so in the blink of eye, this time he’s taking it slow, each step deliberate and precise for the sake of his audience. Roy tries to watch and learn, he really does— but he keeps getting distracted by that look on Russ’s face.
