Summary
Shallow Valley is a quiet small town surrounded by hills and mountains. Nothing striking ever happens there and citizens would say nothing is missing too, between the local pub and the good school and Marcus' music store. They live a normal life, away from the chaos of the city. Until, out of the blue, a citizen of Polis, the biggest city of the region, moves in, looking for a better life for herself and her two children.

Summary
Lexa is an ex-Marine seriously wounded in combat in the war against Mt. Weather. Taking up a somewhat boring life in the Secret Service, she lives her life with anonymity and without excitement-which she prefers.
Though her physical injuries have long since healed, Lexa battles the demons in her mind on a daily basis in the form of nightmares, anxiety attacks, and flashbacks. When a friend is attacked and left fighting for their life, Lexa finds herself drawn back into the world of violence and blood in order to protect a familiar face from an enemy long thought dead.
Clarke, a gifted doctor and daughter to the president, never forgot the Marine who selflessly threw herself in the way of a literal missile to protect a stranger. Though her time in the war was spent trying to save others, Clarke inevitably shares some of the same demons as Lexa. Finding her life in danger on home soil throws her on a collision course with the very same Marine a few years later. This time, they have to work together to ensure the danger stays dead this time.

Summary
Clarke, kneeling on one knee for the swearing in ceremony, lifted her head. She rose and stared directly into the eyes of the Supreme. True, they were not the Supreme’s own, but one almost never dared to look into the artificial eyelets that lit whenever the Supreme wanted to convey a message. Or in this case, mark the new Chancellor. She raised her arm and presented her knuckles.
The atmosphere in Polis University was charged, to say the least. The Conclave was concluded in summers and they had a new Heda. Her name was Alexandria Woods, though one knew better than to utter her name. She recently got admitted to Polis University to pursue her Bachelors. She had to study all the courses being offered and train in advanced physical combat (APC) according to a strict schedule designed by the Dean herself, Dr. Indra. This schedule was especially designed for the Heda, who was now the leader of the twelve clans. Rumours of her bravery had spread like wildfire and the students could not wait to catch a glimpse of their new Heda.
What happens when Clarke, the strongest mortal in the know universe, is sent on a mission to prevent a war that's threatening the existence of all beings?
