The village of Jakku has a dark and terrible secret. An unknown evil lurks in the nearby forest and will only be satisfied with an annual offering of a local virgin. Nobody knows where the mysterious messenger comes from every year. Once a year, a masked person appears out of the forest and selects the virgin to be offered to the forest.
Poor little orphan Rey, is wrapped in the ceremonial red cloak and escorted by the whole village to the edge of town. In a hundred years, none have ever returned. Will Rey be eaten by the Big, Bad Wolf, or does she have a few tricks up her sleeve?

Summary
Rey is a college student starting her senior year at an American university. She spends a lot of time online, primarily harassing people on a forum called Galaxy Wars Fan Club. Eventually she sparks up a friendship with another forum user named Kylo Ren, and things in her life start getting weirder and weirder from there--especially in her Ethics class.
Ben Solo is a professor prone to outbursts that doesn't love undergraduates, but does love Ethics and Philosophy. He's a big proponent of the dark side: victory, power, passion, and all that entails, and that helps make him a challenging ethics teacher. To him, everything is black and white. Until he meets Kira, a fellow forum user, who starts to unravel both his psyche and professionalism.
What could go wrong?
You've got mail meets college in the fanfiction that absolutely no one on this Earth asked for. :)

Rey Kenobi's temporary work visa is about to expire.
She needs her boss' signature on her renewal application to get the extension she desperately wants and needs.
Only her boss, the infamous Ben Solo, is an asshole.
He's notoriously difficult and she knows this firsthand.
Nevertheless, she needs his signature on those papers if she wants to avoid being deported by the end of the year...Ben Solo has problems of his own.
So when Rey tells her about her looming deportation, he finds a way to bend the situation to suit his own needs.
