[Title inspired from the Honkai Impact 3rd chapter, Thunders Over Nagazora. From this, Honkai players already know what's up, I think.]

Childe had said that off hand, the alcohol which had convinced him to poorly serenade the ex-Archon in the middle of the semi-formal and diplomatic Snezhnayan Farewell Party still coursing through his veins.
After an elongated moment of Zhongli staring at him with a peculiar look on his face, brows cutely scrunched in a way Childe rarely gets to enjoy, he realized he’d said something strange. In hindsight he would realize he was still wrong about what he’d thought he’d said wrong, but at the moment he’d attempted to amend the situation by chuckling sheepishly, “Oh! I don’t mean that I’d just think that way about anyone doing that. I don’t think I’d ever want to marry someone that’s not Xiansheng!”
Zhongli stared at him with that same stare for another blink. Then the soft, gentle smile that Childe loved graced his face. His tone was slightly teasing, “I see. That’s good to know.

Childe and Zhongli are like Hydro and Geo. Manifestations of the very elements they can control. But instead of injuring each other, the elemental reactions happen over and over again, relentlessly pushing them closer and closer to each other, and they’ll continue to be protected by each other’s affection for each other.
A sort of sequel to Catching the Heart of Someone Special, where Childe learns that the Geo mark Zhongli has put on his skin has enabled him to feel the Geo, in a way similar to how he can feel the Hydro that runs through his skin.
