Summary
As the crew of the Discovery returns from opening peace talks with the 10-C, they are faced with several new challenges. Many must heal from the fresh loss of one of their own, while a few relationships are taking a new turn. Presidents Rillak and T'Rina must juggle their governmental duties with their personal lives, whilst also trying to spearhead the rebuilding efforts on the regions within the systems and planets that had been hit the hardest by the DMA. Old Federation allies have finally made contact and wish to open negotiations. And then there's the annoying matter of old isolationist political movements deciding to pop back into existence.
