He can't very well say 'sure, pay at the counter!!!' and then rush over to the counter himself and pretend to be the cashier as well as the barista, because that's really odd. Kun will never return if he does that. He'll probably tell all his friends too, how odd the cashier/barista at Ground Floor is. Damn it.
Ten chews on his lip, conflicted.
"Well, this is embarrassing," Ten finally says. "There’s no one at the counter. Hold on just a second, I’ll fix that.”
(based on that one prompt about two coworkers in separate shifts that communicate with each other exclusively through post-its, until that isn't enough anymore.)

Hypothetically speaking, the reason Mark wanted to bury himself whenever he saw Taeyong and his friends would be because he was hopelessly in love with the most beautiful man he’d ever seen in his life. It would be because Ten, petite and warm and unashamedly affectionate, made Mark feel so many things at once that with one glance, one soft touch, Mark wanted to sprint into the ether. In a good way, but also in a terrible way.
