“You’re my favourite, you know?” She says, the muzzle of her gun discharge hot. It hurts, digging so hard into your mastoid process.
You throb. “Do you say that to him too?”

Summary
As she fell, she cupped your face as she was so fond of doing, and she held your fretting hands by your fingertips, and she smeared her precious blood like anointing oil on your knuckles and on your palms and on your wrists and on your lips, her final benediction as she died on the cold marble floor in your arms. Smiling. Like she was going home to God. She had died for your indelible sin and you had spit and cursed and sobbed, foetal, over her broken body as if you could bring her back if only you wept hard enough.

“You, however... We have not taken great pains to conceal you from the world only to let this advantage gather dust. It’s about time we use that secrecy, hm? No, don’t give me that face, Cam.” Camilla schools her face back into impassiveness from the expression she hadn’t realised she had allowed to cross her brow. “I have spoken of you in every letter I have sent the Duchess.”

Summary
"Harrow—”
Harrow looks up to honey-glazed eyes, and God be damned, she swears they’ve grown wide with want, dark with desire, so much warmer than before their duel. Harrow can’t remember when she noticed them change—no, this was the look she had seen when she claimed victory, a low and smouldering heat. The thought makes the corners of Harrow’s mouth lift unwittingly.
Gideon’s eyes flicker to her lips and back, and Harrow decides right then and there that this is not an opportunity she is ready to miss. One hand goes for Gideon’s hip, the other to the back of her neck, and when Gideon doesn’t flinch, Harrow pulls her down to kiss her.

Summary
The realisation disarms you and, with startling audacity, you reach out for her with your flesh hand to take her by the tricep, just above the elbow, and you draw her close. She goes without a fight. In that moment when your eyes meet, your muddied brackish blues and violets with her steadfast, unyielding black of raven feathers, you see a flash of trepidation, and then she is unreadable again.
For a moment, you wonder if she will explode your heart within your chest for what you are about to do. Alas, you never did make good decisions inebriated.

Summary
"CamCor has always struck me as a tragedy of epic proportions, of people brought together by mourning, their every embrace clinging with grief, and in another world maybe they could be beautiful together, but here they're reminders of everything that hurts too much and everything that feels too much and all they have is each other and the forgiveness they find in each other's skin and the only other hand that reaches out in the cold emptiness of this hollow ache, that knows this burden that yokes them together"

A two-hour drive from Rexxentrum, Camp Hupperdook is tucked away in the mountains, far from prying eyes - the best kept secret East of Felderwin. It's tiny, it's hidden, but it's home to the counselors who drive up to the small campgrounds every year to host a summer overnight camp for the kids. This is the story of two such counselors - young, dumb, and in love, and all the shenanigans that inevitably come with them.

Summary
I arrived early the morning of the third day, just in time for your funeral.
I wouldn’t have come at all, if not for Harrow’s message. One postcard, arrived the night before last, reading in neat nunscript, I invoke in you now the covenant of the chain. She’d written it in her own blood, the delightful creature.
I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for a good binding ritual. Besides, I could never deny our Harry, could I?

Summary
“Gideon,” said Palamedes with the patience of a saint, “the rules are the rules. It wouldn’t be fair if I changed them just for you. In a well ordered society—
“It’s not a well ordered society.” Gideon knew where that was going, and she certainly didn’t have the time. She slapped a slip of paper onto the counter and said, “It’s secret santa.”
And there lay the source of all of her problems: handwritten in a script so neat and precise it could have been printed, Harrowhark Nonagesimus. And everyone knew that Gideon and Harrow hated each other.
So what if they had started taking smoke breaks together? So what if Harrow had helped her fold shirts just last week, in a store she didn’t even work in? So what if Harrow had laughed as the two of them did Jagerbombs at Palamedes’ Halloween party, the glint of her fake fangs flashing invitingly in the orange party lights? They hated each other. The two of them would both work in the mall until one of them inevitably strangled the other with her bare hands, and Gideon wouldn’t have it any other way.
Except that lately, Gideon had started to like Harrow.
Which made that slip of paper a fucking problem.

Summary
Palamedes, a decidedly matte person, is quite shiny when he smiles. His lambent gray eyes sparkle. His even white teeth gleam. His battered spectacles tilt on his face, unable to withstand the sudden movement of his nose, and their silver frames catch the light in an SOS flare. Camilla has a poor track record of being able to resist smiling back.
