"Fifteen minutes?" Patrick asked as David started kissing down his neck. Patrick wrapped his arms around him, pulling him even closer, breathing in the addictive smell of David.
"Yep. Alexis just left, Mom and Dad are out. We technically don't have to leave for another fifteen so…" David trailed off, pulling Patrick’s shirt out of his pants, running his hands across his skin.
Patrick smiled, “Good thing we only need thirteen minutes, then.”

My truth is that I’m damaged goods and this has really messed things up for me.
Patrick can’t stop hearing the pain in David’s voice and seeing the hurt on his face when he’d said those words to him. He hates that he was the cause of that pain, when he’d sworn to himself that he wouldn’t become one of David’s sad stories, one of his reasons for keeping his walls so high.
