    Claire Beauchamp is the newest faculty member at Leoch College in upstate New York (USA), following her dreams of a new career after her divorce. She meets Dr. James Fraser, director of Student Academic Support Services, and they spend the 2020-2021 school year navigating the various twists and turns of their own new relationship as the semesters unfold. There's lots of delicious fluff and smut here, with only a wee bit of angst-- nothing of life-and-death proportions.

    This fic followed the 2020-2021 American academic year in real time, but the best part is that there was no Covid-19 in this universe... and just enough drama to add some spice to the story and keep things interesting. We had enough stress in our lives in 2020!! Leoch College is in the Eastern US time zone and updates followed that time zone. Set against the backdrop of the academic year, there are two distinct semester plot arcs, with a wee winter break in between.
