Summary
A self-indulgent blurb based on this conversation from Witcher 3:
Lambert: "No, I got a boat moored there. You know, for fishing."
Geralt: "Wow... Never took you for the fishing type."
Lambert: "I use bombs. Drop 'em in, then scoop up whatever floats to the surface."Kaer Morhen family shenanigans, a young Ciri, and a whole lot of water.

Summary
It's roughly one hundred years after the Battle of Kaer Morhen - give or take, Geralt's lost count - Nilfgaard won the war, bringing the Continent under its iron rule. The creatures and beasts Geralt once hunted are now mere playthings for the rich and powerful. And the most interesting creature of all? Witchers.

Summary
"Why do you go with people who hurt you?"
He looked at Jaskier, and kept looking at him after he looked away and the smile dropped off his face. After a long silence, Jaskier said, in a much more tired voice, "I don't exactly have a lot of options, Geralt."
On the face of it it wasn't true--Jaskier could find a willing young woman or man in any half-crowded tavern without lifting a finger--but that wasn't what he meant, of course. He meant when he needed...that particular sort of person. That particular experience.
Without the slightest forethought or intention, Geralt frowned and said, "You have me."

Summary
Eskel's Chosen companion is a bard who shares his loves with pretty words and gentle touches. "We Chose each other. Your blood is in my veins. I would hate myself before I could hate you."
Yennefer isn't everything that Geralt ever wanted. "We have passion and love, perhaps, but little tenderness or devotion. You long for a quiet and steadfast kind of love."
"I don't need it," Geralt said, trying to make both of them believe.Series

Summary
When he is four, Jaskier escapes out his window to avoid a boring family dinner where his cousin was getting betrothed to someone. He just wanted to hear the frogs. Frogs sound neat.
That daring escape, and the rescue that it required changed his whole fate, because he was the one who ended up betrothed to a witcher - the plan to marry when he was 20. He didn't really care he got to hear the frogs croak, what did he care about this Geralt of Rivia?
As he grows up though, he ends up caring a great deal.
Scenes from Jaskier's life of meeting every witcher but his betrothed, until one day in a shitty tavern, he finally meets Geralt.

Summary
There was a time, Jaskier thought distantly, when he wouldn’t have minded this at all.
A time when he could simply grin and bear it as his own blood trickled down his chin, as his insides tore themselves apart and knitted themselves back together again, as the body that Jaskier had spent decades inhabiting decided it quite fancied a complete overhaul of everything, and made this known by bleeding Jaskier dry, setting his nerves on fire, and altogether destroying the bard little by little and all at once as his anatomy inched its way, excruciatingly, towards its new shape.
There was a time when Jaskier would have toughed it out, for the sake of the people who would be there on the other side, waiting for him, as well as himself.
That time had passed, however, long ago.
