Steve gets stuck in traffic on his way back from SHIELD. He's not sure how long it'll be before he gets back to the Tower, but he hopes it soon, because Tony's ill, and he hasn't seen him all day. The sooner he can get back home to give his husband a hug, the better.

“I panic when I wake up somewhere I don’t know,” Steve says, rubbing his forehead. “It takes me a while to get used to a new room.”
To his surprise, Tony softens and it’s like he’s letting Steve in on something, secretive and vulnerable.
“I panic too,” he says, and his eyes flit away from Steve’s face for a moment before turning on him again. “You wanna sleep in my room tonight? God, what am I—I could come sleep in your room is what I meant. Just to let you know everything’s okay in the morning.”
